Each week, from now until migration, I will be practicing the field marks and color patterns of warblers from different views. Why you may ask? Some of these gems I only get to see once a year if I am lucky. Some years, I don't see certain species at all. Nonetheless, I want to be ready to greet and ID them - if I get the opportunity to find them when scouring the trees this spring!
