I recently took a class on tiny paintings and I had so much fun! This is my first attempt of a tiny painting, winter landscape in February along my beloved KATY Trail in Missouri. I have put in many walking and biking miles on this rails to trails scenic route over the years. I look forward to documenting some of my favorite places along this trail.

Although I have grown to appreciate winter, it is definitely not my favorite season. I am grateful that our Botanical Garden has an Arid House to which I can escape winter and enjoy the bounty of plants and their flowers. Hours seem like a few minutes I get so lost in the moment. Here are two pages from my journal entries this day.
